Make That a Skim Mochathanks will!
Your morning Starbucks latte may never seem as sweet again.
If you thought you were being nutritionally virtuous by stopping at Starbucks instead of McDonald’s, the Center for Science in the Public Interest says, “Wrong!’’
A venti — or 20-ounce — Caffè Mocha with whipped cream has 490 calories, equivalent to a Quarter Pounder with cheese. And a 24-ounce Java Chip Frappuccino with whipped cream has 650 calories, not to mention almost an entire day’s allowance of saturated fat.
According to the center, a nutritional advocacy group, the Frappuccino is equivalent in calories to a McDonald’s coffee plus 11 of their creamers and 29 packets of sugar.
We are told to let our light shine, and if it does, we won't need to tell anybody it does. Lighthouses don't fire cannons to call attention to their shining - they just shine.

Dear Bobbie,
I don't really know what to say yet, but I can't begin to tell you how similar our lives sound. I have NEVER felt so understood in all my life, and you don't even know me. A dear friend sent me links to a bunch of blogs, and yours was the first one I went to.
I'm still in shock, but thank you, thank you, thank you, for sharing your pain, your journey, and your Jesus with me tonight. All I've read so far is the "getting to know you stuff," and all I can say is thank you for your bravery and honesty. It has given me hope tonight.
With the love of a sister in Christ and a sister in our pasts, I pray God's peace and blessings rain on you this weekend.
